It was originally titled as Rondo of Deception but was relabeled on its North American release. The title Rondo of Deception most probably refers to the fact that Serdic is not the crown prince of Bretwalde, but uses his striking resemblance with the real prince in order to fulfill the destiny that was originally believed a divine right intended for the latter."
